Athletic Eyewear Concept: Simple Eyes

For my first eyewear design project, I explored the creation of athletic goggles for basketball. I drew design inspiration from wasps to tie it in with my Senior Thesis Collection and modeled a button press system that releases the temple pieces so they can be swapped from traditional temple pieces to a goggle strap. The modeling was done entirely in Rhino 8 and rendered in Keyshot. I 3D printed a prototype and am continuing development.
